Peter
Vishnyakov

CTO and technical co-founder for early-stage companies
I take founder vision into production:
architecture, team, delivery
How I work
Strategy into architecture
I translate product vision into technical decisions that fit the company today and scale with it tomorrow.
Team build
I hire the engineers that match your scope, runway, and delivery timeline. I stay hands-on in the vetting — even when an agency is the fastest way to a niche specialist. No generic shortlists.
Delivery to real users
I stay in the daily decisions until the product ships and operates in production. Not until the first demo.
Selected work
CTO and co-founder, Lunu (2019–2025)
Berlin

Co-founded Lunu and led the technical organisation from concept to a production payments infrastructure bridging crypto and retail. Designed the architecture across the full stack: POS terminals and mPOS software, checkout widget for online merchants, iOS and Android crypto wallets, merchant backend, exchange integrations and pricing oracles. Built and led a 13-person engineering team. At peak: ~400 merchants, over €50M annual processing volume. Two patents, filed and granted, on the crypto-payment processing method.

CTO and co-founder, Ad-Yo (2022–2025)
Paris

Designed and prototyped a blockchain protocol for privacy-preserving digital advertising — anonymized ad targeting with on-device data sovereignty and direct customer-to-advertiser value transfer. Took the concept through architecture, patent filing, team build, and working prototype. Project paused at the seed-funding stage.

Background

A designer by training, an engineer by practice. Two decades building products end to end — print and web design, art direction, then UX — across studios and product companies in St. Petersburg and Berlin. I’ve been in crypto since 2015, and co-founded Lunu in 2019. The constant has been turning a clear vision into software that ships; what’s changed is who executes it — from engineering teams to, increasingly, AI.

Currently

Advising early-stage founders on product architecture and team build.

In my own time I write software for controlling audio gear — from a Bluetooth mobile player to a web-controlled hi-fi system, to home automation of amplifiers, streamers, and CD players over the RC5 protocol.

Open to new engagements.
